Venue information, straight from the venue

Yenta is a directory of hospitality venues — restaurants, bars, cafés — that publishes each venue's own approved information to AI assistants over the Model Context Protocol.

Everything Yenta serves comes from the venue. A partner uploads their menu and FAQs, an authorized person there approves the exact revision, and only then does it become publicly readable. Nothing is scraped, inferred or generated, and every answer cites the approved revision it came from.

Connect it

The directory endpoint is at /mcp on this host, speaks Streamable HTTP MCP and needs no account, no API key and no token:

/mcp

Add it — the full https://…/mcp URL of the host you are reading this on — to Claude, Codex or ChatGPT as a custom connector and leave every authentication field blank. In production, each published venue also has an endpoint of its own at https://{venue-slug}.venues.yentaknows.ai/mcp, for a client you want permanently pointed at one restaurant. The connector documentation has the setup steps for each client, the tools both endpoint shapes expose, and example prompts.

Or read it over plain HTTP — no MCP needed

No MCP client? Every read is also served as plain text or Markdown over an ordinary GET, so a browser, curl, or any AI model with a fetch tool can use it. Browse the directory as text at /venues, /cities and /destinations; each result links to that venue or destination's own text pages — its menu, dietary options, listings, events and more. The same content is available as JSON under /v1/public, described by an OpenAPI document at /openapi.json, and every published page is listed in the sitemap at /sitemap.xml.

Read-only, and anonymous

No tool Yenta exposes can write anything, book anything, or send a message to a venue. There are no consumer accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing kept about the people who ask questions — see the privacy policy.

For venues

Venues publish through Yenta's partner control plane, under the partner terms. To be listed, or to correct something we are publishing about you, email support@yentaknows.ai.
